Cancellation policy
We do not issue refunds on class bookings.
If you register for a class and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer you store credit if you notify us at least 15 days before the class. For example, if your class is on 20 June, you must contact us by 5 June in order to receive store credit. After the cut-off date for your class, we are unable to offer credits of any kind or honour reschedule requests.
Our classes require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, booking staff, and making commitments to pay our instructors. When students ask to cancel or reschedule, we lose money. As a small business, it is extremely difficult for us to absorb these costs and keep our class fees low.
In fairness to all of our customers we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness, travel, or family emergency. If you are unable to attend a workshop, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!
We require full enrolment to go forward with a class. If we must cancel a class for any reason you will be offered a full refund or we will offer you a place in the class the next time it is scheduled. If this happens, we’ll try to work with you to choose new class dates that fit your schedule.
If you are transferred to a new class, either by your request or because we had to cancel your original booking, these policies apply to the new booking. This means that if we have to cancel a class that you are booked onto and you choose to move to a new date rather than taking a refund, you can not request a refund at a later date.
Late policy
If you arrive more than 20 minutes late you will not be able to take part in the class and you will not be able to move to another class or receive a refund. Classes start promptly. We cannot hold the class back if you are running late and we may not be able to go over what you have missed if you arrive late. There is a lot to get through in our classes and it isn’t fair on other paying students if we have to stop and go back to explain things to late students.
Class payment plans
We are excited to start offering payment plans for our classes priced more than £60. If you are interested in a payment plan, please contact us and we’ll be happy to set one up for you. Here is how it will work: We’ll divide the class fees into two or three payments based on how far in advance the class is and invoice you monthly. All class fees must be paid by the 15th day before a class starts to confirm your place.
In keeping with our class policies, there are no refunds for class fees paid. If you are unable to take the class and you contact us about it before the 15th day before the class starts, we can offer you store credit or apply the fees paid to another class.
