Well, come to the Nimble Thimble and Jane will take you step by step through it.
From deciding on the correct size, cutting out the pattern, placement of the pattern pieces on the fabric to understanding the pattern instructions, you will also learn tips on how to avoid common mistakes.
Patterns: After booking you will receive a list of suggested patterns. If none of the suggested patterns appeal then your are free to source your own pattern, which can be any brand, but needs to be marked “Easy” and suitable for cotton fabrics, Not stretch fabrics.
Materials: If you buy your materials from the Nimble Thimble, we have a wide selection of 100% cotton fabrics, and haberdashery, you will receive a 10% discount on the day. However, if you wish, you can source your fabric elsewhere, but it must be cotton based and NOT stretch.
