Welcome to The Nimble Thimble

The Nimble Thimble opened in August 2009, after a very nervous Jane and Val finally persuaded their even more nervous husbands to let them fulfil a long-held ambition to open a Patchwork and Quilting shop in Buckingham. We have been excited and encouraged by the reaction of sewers and knitters near and far, and every month brings more challenges, more stock, and most importantly, more new friends! We currently stock over 1400 bolts of fabric and more are being added.

We stock a comprehensive range of quality fabric and yarns – please telephone us if you have any queries, or better still, call in at the shop!

We are agents for Janome Sewing Machines and have a range of demonstration machines for you to try, as well as needles, feet and other accessories for most machines. Please note that delivery is FREE on all orders over £25.00.
